Narration choices are terrible

I would not have purchased this audio book if the sample had the males voice on it. It sounds like a 60 year old man playing a 17 year old it's so disconnected. I sped the speed up alot and it makes no difference. It's a terrible choice.

don't waste your time

couldn't finish the book...and for someone who HAS to finish was she starts its saying alot...the main character get roofied and crys for like a second but is still behind the guy who had them video taped looking like they were having a threesome let the whole school see it and she has no memory of it but she is still "so drawn to him" the sexual tensions for the dbag it's horrible...no way to fix this so didn't finish the book....

So many questions...

How in the hell does this girl get humiliating pictures and video taken of her, them shown all over the school, and accept the Kings so readily? There is no reality to this story. She should not have been so trusting, especially of Bently. Where was Ainsley? She could have also been imancipated to stay away from her 'so called family.'

Who Picked The Male Actor?!

The story is basic teen bully erotica ….the male voice actor is awful! He sounds like a 56 year old war torn paladin knight reading for a 17 year old preppy jerk…wtf is that?! Ew

Trigger warning for SA- and a real bully but somehow also interesting

I don’t know how I feel about this one. So much is kinda gross and icky about the whole thing. And it’s a cliffhanger.
Will I listen to the next one? Probably, just to see how this plays out. The female Mc is likable but the way she reacts after being treated so horrible is not very believable. She kinda falls for the people who abuse her. The male MC has some narcissistic vibes that are pretty manipulative and toxic. I’m just hoping for some kind of revenge or redemption in the next book.
The male narrator sounds older than I am and I’m 50. He’s playing an 18 or 17 yr old . Poor choice for this series.

Ending was very unsatisfying

I know what the ending implies however I would have liked to had more of the story with concrete closure of what happens to jazz, who is responsible for it… Etc. abrupt ending was such a letdown

Just when think it's okay to relax, watch out.

Loved it. After surviving 17 year in the Bronx to move to the upper crust and relax only to die.

Awful choice for male narrator

I couldn’t finish this book. The male narrator sounds like a 60 year old English butler, reading the character of an American high school boy from Los Angeles. It was so bad it was almost comical. Totally ruined the book for me.

Omg! I am speechless. Wow. Hoooked from the very beginning. So needing better tools k to see how it unfolds. Lol, ugh..cliff hangers. If you love dark bully romance then this is the book for you. It is not for the faint of heart.

Great story!

I loved this story! It is intriguing, and mysterious. You think it’s a standard hs bully romance but it’s a lot deeper than that and I can’t wait to read the rest to see where the story goes! The narration was good as well both narrators did a good job of bringing to story to life
