I find book one of this spin-off series to be well done. Merit and Ethan’s now grown up daughter Elisa is the hero of this series. She has her own personality and skills. Her adventures and challenges are not knock offs of those of her parents. I think the narrator -Suzanne Freeman-does a great job.
