Description

Who is the Guardsman and why does he know everything about Winter? With the reality of the situation unravelling as the world’s leaders assemble in London, just how much has Winter underestimated her opponent and is the realisation all too late?
Winter faces her biggest challenge yet in this dark commentary on our surveillance society.

Worth listening to.
Very good story. Some of it was predictable but enough surprises to keep it interesting, and I had to be willing to suspend belief at times, but no more than with every Bond or Bourne story. The vivid descriptions of the sexual encounters were unnecessary, could have been done more tastefully.

Another Wild Winter Ride
I'm enjoying this series way too much. I've listened to hundreds of audiobooks. As a narrator Ell Potter is surpassed only by Michael Sheehan reading Philip Pullman’s latest Lyra books. She is mesmerizing.
I would mention though that anytime a major character is referred to only by name and never by pronoun, it sends up a red flag, not to say a red herring!
Highly recommended--what fun!

Amazing
This is the second book by this author and narrator I've had the pleasure of experiencing! So good, kept me on my toes the entire time. I'm sad it's done!

Love, love, love this whole series
After downloading the first story as an Audible freebie I blew through it in two and a half days. Bought the 2nd book, same thing... two days, while I did other things. Now I am on the third book and preordered the 4th.
Story moves at a fast pace and certainly kept me wearing my airpods longer than I ever had before.
Similar in genre to The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo.

Alex Callister delivers another action pack novel
Winter rising is yet another great novel by Alex Callister. It provides action, international espionage, romance and a solid story. this is all well delivered in the narrative by Ell Porter. Enjoy this book I did!
