It is so nice to have a Christian spy/political thriller and I love how Rosenberg works spiritual topics into the story so well so that it is both edifying and engaging.
This really shouldn’t have been the last book in the series.
I’m still trying to process the ending and it’s bothering me because of a few technical details with being a first-person narration. I don’t want to spoil the ending for anyone, so I’ll just say that I think Rosenberg didn’t quite think the narration through. I wish it ended a bit differently, or that there was one more novel to resolve that one technical but (to me) bothersome detail.

Perfect story for a long drive. Many tense moments with harrowing action. The performance was excellent. A few too many explanations and reflections.

this and two before this series is big disappointment so much unnecessary details in all 3 could of been 50 chapters instead of 100 .disappointment in all 3 books ending ..but loved all his other books series. read them all .no more to read or listen too

The action scenes were very well-written and the storyline was overall a fun ride. I did not like the gratuitous religious references, they did not add to the story. Furthermore, I feel that it is proselytizing and alienates readers who are not Christian. There were other details in the book that were borderline fantastical, like how several international intelligence agencies and world leaders rely on some journalist for a character reference on the world's most wanted terrorist. It's unrealistic.
