Amazing story and performance by Sir Ian McKellen.

A wonderful adventure and Sir Ian McKellen was the perfect choice for this series!
I had read these novels along with the audio cd's as a kid and knew even as an adult I'd return to them someday.. To my surprise there is three more in the series now and can't wait too see how it unfolds! thanks too Michelle Paver and Sir Ian McKellen for a story telling of nature, adventure and magic.. and wolf of course. the parts telling of wolfs perspective are my favorite!

My favourite story of 10 years!

I can never get enough of this captivating adventure! Every sentence is woven together masterfully with a careful and meaningful choice of words. The characters are so fully built and unique. This story has a way of transporting you right into the forest as if you were really there, hearing each sound and feeling each emotion that passes. I am an avid reader, and no series has ever come close to the masterpiece that is the Chronicles of Ancient Darkness by Michelle Paver. In fact, it inspired me to become the environmental scientist and anthropologist I am today. Thank you!
