That night, visions mocked Vol’jin. He found himself in the midst of fighters, each of whom he recognized. He’d gathered them for that final assault on Zalazane, to end his madness and free the Echo Isles for the Darkspears. Each of the combatants took on aspects of a jihui cube, faced to be at their maximum power. Not a fireship among them, but this did not surprise Vol’jin.

Enjoyable
Would you consider the audio edition of World of Warcraft: Jaina Proudmoore: Tides of War to be better than the print version?
Yes. I thought the reader was wonderful. She can't get the low's needed for male orcs - but few can :)
What was one of the most memorable moments of World of Warcraft: Jaina Proudmoore: Tides of War?
The mana bomb
Which scene was your favorite?
Jaina and Thrall fighting
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
Jaina - a woman scorn?
Any additional comments?
I thought the reader did a wonderful job. I thought the story was great too. It isn't a historical piece of work, but those of you who are fans of world of warcraft, Alliance or Horde, this was a great story - especially before Mists of Pandaria.

If you're into Warcraft, you'll love this story!
What made the experience of listening to World of Warcraft: Jaina Proudmoore: Tides of War the most enjoyable?
Compelling storyline, well written. Provides a lot more character depth to many of the major Warcraft characters.
What other book might you compare World of Warcraft: Jaina Proudmoore: Tides of War to and why?
The storyline is as good as her previous Warcraft books (she's written 5 other Warcraft titles- unfortunately this is the only one available from Audible!) I think she's the best of the writers for Warcraft books!
Did Justine Eyre do a good job differentiating all the characters? How?
The narration was adequate, but could have been better.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
If you want war between the Horde and Alliance, you've got it!
Any additional comments?
Please add more Christie Golden books to Audible, especially her Warcraft books!

Good story, poor choice for narrator
The story itself is good. I have no real complaints with it. The narrator, however, was a poor choice for this particular novel.
I would listen to another book narrated by Justine Eyre, just not a book that had any Orcs, Tauren or Trolls as characters. Justine does a decent job portraying male humans or elves, but male Orcs? Tauren??
Good grief, no.
It's not that she doesn't TRY to voice them correctly; with gruffness and brutishness. She does try. The problem is that Justine has a very feminine voice. She's pleasant to listen to, but the moment she tries to voice an angry Orc, like Garrosh, (or any other male Horde race), it just doesn't work. Worse, it just sounds comical.
There were several points during the narration where I thought, "I don't think I can keep listening to this! She sounds ridiculous!!" -- but I pushed on. Because, as I said, the story is good.
For anyone who is considering picking this up, be forewarned -- Justine Eyre was probably not the best choice to narrate this particular book, but she does try very hard to do the male Horde characters justice. The problem is she simply doesn't have the deep, vocal range to do it. Not her fault. And, as I said before, I would absolutely listen to another book narrated by her... just not one with Orc, Tauren or Trolls... ;)

Great Story, Can't stand the narrator's voice.
Would you try another book from Christie Golden and/or Justine Eyre?
I have read or listened to several Christie Golden books. She is a fantastic author and I strongly suggest her works to anyone interested in the Warcraft universe.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The narrator's attempt to give justice to some of the characters such as Garrosh Hellscream is so feeble, that it is border line hilarious. I have been tempted to skip over the parts where Garrosh is involved but keep listening in fear of missing a plot detail.
Any additional comments?
Read the book. Skip this particular audio book. The girl, although has a nice voice, she does not do any of the Orc or Tauren characters justice.

The voice acting was painful.
Where does World of Warcraft: Jaina Proudmoore: Tides of War rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
This was an enjoyable tie-in novel that is somewhat important for WoW players to read if they truly want to understand the lore, because the game skips over much of this story and jumps to the aftermath. And although the story is enjoyable, the poor narration makes it much better ebook than audio book.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The narrator's normal reading voice was pleasant, but when she got in character to do male voices, it was an unbearable attempt at a deep gravely voice. Orc and Tauren especially sounded like a child's mocking impersonation of an elderly male. I often couldn't tell who was speaking because everyone sounded the same. I don't expect a narrator to have a voice that can truly match every character, but this was hard to listen to. Her normal reading voice would have been much better.

Fantastic story! However, the male voice portrayals by the narrator were very cringy, as were her pronunciations of several different words.
