À propos de cet audio
Coach Hudson Arrows wants to sweep Piper off her feet, the fact she's his niece's best friend? May just send him into overtime.
A scorching one-night stand with a stranger was supposed to be my night of adventure to enjoy and move on. I didn't expect that a few weeks later my friend would introduce said stranger as the man walking her down the aisle because he's her godfather and uncle. And I certainly didn't expect him to be a famous football coach who insists I escape with him to his small town lake house for a rendezvous. He may be old enough to be my dad, but the man's charisma is a winning touchdown straight to my lust-filled mind that agrees.
We keep our relationship a secret.
It doesn't take long for me to realize that there is more to Hudson than his dirty talking mouth and his persistence that I may be what he's been waiting for. What we have turns into something I didn't bargain for. But I'm not blinded by what is at stake once the world finds out about us. And I'm not sure if it's Hudson or me trying to convince us more, that together, we may just be worth the risk . . .
Contains mature themes.

Sometimes you just need a simple and sweet romance to lighten the mood between some heavier more emotional reads and Worth the Risk was just what I needed. I loved the age gap and sports romance tropes, which were made even more enjoyable by the surprise of the hot older football coach being her best friend's uncle.
Worth the Risk was an enjoyable read. I did an immersive read with the audiobook and ebook and I really enjoyed it. The audio narration by Tim Paige and Marie Hawkins was well done.
I enjoyed Hudson and Piper’s characters and thought they were a great fit for each other. The famous football couch and younger fashion designer was a fun combination. The characters had good chemistry and good communication. When there were issues of miscommunication they were good to address and quickly move past it.
I personally would have liked a bit more from the story. I am a huge forbidden romance fan and that aspect of the story felt a bit lacking. I loved how Evey incorporated the football references into the story without it feeling like too much. This was a great first book to the series and has left me wanting more. I’ve already purchased the second book in the series and looking forward to getting more of the characters and the small lake side town Evey created.
If you are looking for a sweet, cozy, small town football romance Worth the Risk is a definite must read.
