The courage and conviction of our brothers and sisters remind us of the war we're in, help awaken us from the lullabies of our culture, and challenge us to continue pushing into our faith, and pursuing Christ, even as He pursued us.

I will listen to this over and over again and have recommended to many. Narration is extremely well done - the best I’ve heard thus far. I found myself sitting in the driveway at the end of my commute, not wanting to turn it off. In the mornings, I did the same at my office, sometimes needing to wait for the tears to dry. Such faithful saints, so inspiring to read about such strength. It makes my daily struggles seem so trivial! Thanks VOM!

Deeply inspirational and eye opening, this book should be read or listened to by all but especially those of us who claim to be followers of Christ. It is eye opening to the evils of communism but most of all the love of Jesus even in the darkest of places. You can’t listen without being affected by the message. Let this book change you and renew your commitment to follow Jesus.
