Wickedly smart wit
What if Macbeth was a comedy from the perspective of the witches? There’s a lot more to this story than just that, but that’s the foundation and it’s ingenious!

Fabulous!
Indira Varma is brilliant at capturing the voices of Terry Pratchett's characters. Death (Peter Seraphinowicz) and Bill Nighy are icing on the cake.

The best audio version yet!
In short, a brilliant reading, now I'm thirsty for the rest of the series. Indira Varma read this, one of my top 5 favourite Discworld novels, beautifully. I can only say that usually I rarely want to re-listen to a book more than once a year, but I will be listening to this one again on a frequent basis. Terry would be thrilled with this latest treatment of his work. In my very humble opinion I think is worthy of him.

Absolutely perfect new reading
I am SO happy with these new recordings of the Discworld novels. The technical quality is superb, and Indira Varma was born to read these novels. They're the definitive recordings for me. Absolutely fantastic. (And the text itself is of course as wonderful as it's always been... just so nice to hear a recording that does it justice.)

one of my new favorite books
Wyrd sisters is not only the funniest Discworld book I've read so far, it is also the one that has left me with the most to think about now that I've finished it. I look forward to re reading it soon
