First off, Julia is the best narrator of all time. My goodness her voice is so good. Second, this story kept me on my toes with my jaw dropped. Third, for people who love happy endings you are good to read this one. Drama, love, life’s troubles it has everything.

Heart Wrenching

The book isn’t amazing or life altering but it is a decent story which is enjoyable to listen to, primarily because of the narrator. The narrator is really excellent. She’s a very talented voice actor. She is the reason I decided to listen to this book.
I can’t decide if I like the main character or if the character is actually realistic. She can also be slightly annoying however at times.

This novel was both interesting but also a bit different than other Corinne Michaels books I've read. The main characters have their flaws which makes them relatable, while some of their actions left me shaking my head with big "don't do that vibes". Westin is such a wonderful archetype for Serenity, and I'm disappointed I haven't found my own real-like version of him. It was a good read, just not one of hers that I'll be re-reading endlessly like others.

This was an emotional story about how the lines blur while trying to make decisions around what is expected and what is in your heart! I loved Serenity and how strong, yet vulnerable she was while trying to hold every scrap of her life together! Weston was her perfect match in every way and I loved how he kept his promise to never let her fall.
