I loved the intro to this new series!
You can always count on Laura Pavlov to deliver an excellent love story. Between swoon worthy main characters, witty and charming secondary characters like and idyllic small towns.
She describes Blushing Alaska with such detail you feel like you are there with the characters witnessing Clifford walking through town.
I absolutely loved how Montana and Myles met. This is a scene I definitely won’t be forgetting 😂
I loved following them as they built their friendship and then as it slowly turned into more. I enjoyed the two of them together. They had great banter and chemistry.
I did an immersive read with the audiobook and Cicely Meadows and Troy Duran did a great job narrating this book. They really brought the emotions and characters of the book to life.
I can’t wait to go back to Blushing!

montana & miles are too sweet
Montana & Miles
Small town x billionaire has been my favourite trope combo since Laura gave us Under the Stars, so it's safe to say I was very excited to read You, Me and Forever knowing she would feed me more of what I love!
LP is the queen of small town romance in my opinion. Though I will say this book deviates slightly from Laura's typical small town romance, it still delivers a beautiful story.
Montana's character growth is what I think many women experience or are looking for. She works hard, has a successful business and hopes for her own version of happily ever after with a small intimate wedding unlike the big traditional weddings she plans for others. She is over her cheating ex-boyfriend, but isn't really sure what's next. I loved that she put herself out there, tried something different with a friends with benefits fling. And even though she knew that's all the situationship between her and Miles was, she stood up for herself and put her boundaries in place once she fell for him. I had so much respect for protecting herself in this case.
Miles experienced a significant amount of growth as well, but it came in the form of inspiration and encouragement from his mother and brother. Watching them grow and do what made them happy and with a big of a kick in the butt from them, he went after the girl. My jaw hit the floor at his grand gesture moment! I wasn't expecting it, even though it is one we have seen LP write before!
I also really loved the little visit to Banff!
There was so much to love about this adorable town and the people in it. Montana was a special woman and Miles wanted to prop her up and give her the world.
Something I missed from LP's typical small town romance books are the quirky character in town and the group chats!
Overall I enjoyed visiting Blushing Alaska, but I did miss those signature LP components.
