I'm not sure I agree with the comparison to the Great British Bake Off, since the crew's restaurant is destroyed pretty near to the beginning. I also don't know if I would consider it cozy, what with the torture and death of one of the found family in the latter half of the book.

That being said, this was a GOOD book. It had the element of found family I love, seemingly impossible situations for the crew to work their way free of, a tinge of mystery. My favourite part was watching the ship grow attached to the crew.

I'm not even close to being done with this cast of characters. There's just enough ambiguity that I hope for a sequel or three! 🤞
