I read the first book and was on the edge of like and dislike with how it “info dumped” so often instead of building and blah blah blah. Said I probably read book 2 but not yet as it didn’t hold my interest.
So now, 2 months (ish) later! It’s a nope. I got through 75% of this book and I was so bored. (Sex scene’s were meh)
Kind of like you want it to be good because the plot line has potential but it’s missing something. Don’t know what but it is. Maybe different narrators? They weren’t bad but the chemistry of the voices together (duel-narration so they did their own girl/guy voices) didn’t seem like they sounded good together. I don’t know if I make sense but whatever.
It’s good but nothing that should be committed to if you’re saving credits.
