I feel slightly cheated. The ending... sucked. It was so rushed. This whole thing was a big miss for me. The story felt like filler, the "case" was uninteresting and there was no actual detecting done. It solved itself. Or, rather, the villain solved it for them. Good grief. Like, the real world is full of enough incompetence- I'd like my fictional cops to be better than that, you know?
I was so disgusted by Cody the whole frigging time. And Sarah, the guest lead, was pretty irritating, too. Angry Vengeful Wonder Woman. Ugh.
But yeah, Cody is an absolute jerk, and a staggeringly stupid and corrupt cop, who has no business being on the job, but somehow manages to get away with it! He makes a hash of pretty much everything, is totally unstable, but still gets to keep his job.
Yeah, this one was a step too far for me. I couldn't suspend my disbelief far enough to enjoy it.
I'm so sick of corrupt cops, especially when we're supposed to root for them.

And yet. I need to know what happens next. I must be a sucker for punishment.
