I needed this light little fluffy novel, short and sweet, yet funny relatable with a great ending. Loved the schemes!
After some of the really big series I’ve read recently this was a great little break for my heart. I loved the British humour and as someone who’s worked at an adult shop I enjoyed that little development in the story!
It was precisely what I need right now as I myself have gone through some major lows and also made a come back it made me smile a lot :)

I enjoyed the listen, blasted through it rather quickly. I liked the characters, but with the main wasn’t such a push over, still very likeable.

Didn't enjoy this. Felt the protagonist was silly and I just couldn't understand some of the decisions she made ex how she handled the vase situation (it was given to her, why couldn't she just refuse to give it to the daughter?!). Ended up listening at double speed to get through it, in case it ended better than the rest of the book but it didn't.
