The narrator conveyed the depth of characters that had experienced so many lives for so many years that I always pictured when reading the book

This is not one of GGK’s best books - that would be the Fionavar Tapestry series but it is an engaging story. Unfortunately the narrator was really pretty bad. Dire accents and all of her male characters sounded pretty much identical. If the story hadn’t been as good I would have stopped listening to her
