À propos de cet audio

This book is a great way to introduce children to the world of Shakespeare and literature. It was written by a child, for children. It contains modern and engaging language used children's everyday life. Zanna got the inspiration to write this book after reading the children's version of a few Shakespeare plays and taking part in a modern adaptation of A Midsummer Night's Dream by her drama club. She then went further to write her own adaptation for the Shakespeare Week competition.

The original manuscript for this book was initially written for the 2023 Shakespeare week competition and was one of the winning entries selected as a highly commended book and featured in the online exhibition, alongside books by other famous children's book authors. The manuscript will now be kept alongside other rare books at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust Museum.

Zanna has elaborated on the original manuscript to make this book a fun, contemporary, and educative introduction to the world of Shakespearean literature for children. It is written by a kid, for kids, and in simple but engaging language that appeals to children. This is an all-rounder book that will appeal to every child who enjoys gaming, the seaside, music, and everything else in between.

This is one book that you'll want to listen it all over again for the umpteenth time!
