Excited to read the rest of the series!
I really like the story lines and the multiple view points in the book.
The narrators do a really good job with the acting in this audio book which helps me a lot since i dont have much time to sit down.
I love Geraldine Gruss and Bryan Washers characters - they never fail to make me laugh.
Excited to read the rest of the books but will be sad when i finish the series.

disappointed :’(
there were so many things i loved and hated about this. overall, mostly disappointed with how the plot is slowly creeping forward (nothing ever gets resolved, only new problems pop up). i did how ever love the performances — even though these voices are ridiculous, i’m obsessed with them. i’m so invested in this series, i really hope they bring it home with the final (please for the love of the moon, be the final) book.

A lot of story without progression of plot.
I love this series.
But, I must say that this was a long book and in the end I don't really feel like the story progressed that much. Yes some big things happened, but I do not feel this is the climactic book I was waiting for and I feel kind of jipped... Now we have to wait for 9 to find out what happens when I feel like more could have happenend in this lengthy book.
Performance as always is stellar, Jake and Bridget Bordeaux are amazing.

Obsessed! Already excited for the next one.
I definitely love an exciting and lengthy series. Am I wishing more happened/resolved in this one? Yes. Am I upset that there will be more? Nope!!! Bring on more. I love this series so much. I am so invested in the story and the cast. I am here for it all. It would make for a killer and bingeworthy TV series as well.

Patiently waiting for the finale
loved this series from the get go, characters are awesome, and the performances (storytellers) were great, too. voice cracking at the perfect times or over joyed, you feel it right along with em!!!
However... is there a book 9? yes, but POV from the boys... okaaaay????.... does this have 130 chapters so that the story actually has a conclusion?! or am I forever to sit here on the edge, wondering what happened!!!

Well, that felt sorrowful indeed…
Seriously?! I went through over 36 hours of long descriptions and unending inner monologues for THAT ending?!
Seriously, I feel like the authors are just making fun of me at that point. I don’t mind a good cliffhanger, even if it’s cruel, but this ending is so unsatisfying, especially after over 1200 pages… I don’t even feel like reading the next book now because I am just tired of the plot dragging on and on and on. This series should have ended with book 7 or this one if we’re pushing it… But a 9th book?! Seriously?!
The plot is good, and it could have been a 4-5 stars book if it had been 800 pages instead of 1200, and with a satisfying ending instead of yet another cliffhanger. This book felt SO LONG at times, especially since I was listening to the audiobook, some scenes felt interminable. I was not even that involved in the plot near the end, I just wanted it to be over because I was tired of all the repetitive inner monologues and never-ending fight scenes.
