Joy Mukherjee was part of the prominent Mukherjee-Samarth family in the Indian film industry. He made his acting debut in the early 1960s and quickly became one of the popular actors of his time. Some of his notable films include "Love in Simla," "Phir Wohi Dil Laya Hoon," and "Shagird." He was often cast as the charming and romantic hero in many of his movies.
