À propos de cet audio
It's important that land, body, and community are part of the very first episode, because that’s exactly what The Spiritual Deli is: a space of consciousness, of thought, of presence. If we were to gather in a physical space, it would be essential to research and understand what came before us. What stories live in the soil, in the walls, in the air of that land and territory. Only then can we truly conjure the spirit and energy of the place.
For me, I’ve always had a unique relationship with the land especially through nature. As I continue learning about Indigenous cultures and the histories they carry, that relationship deepens. It’s important for me to share that journey. How it has shaped my life, my spiritual path, and the way I connect with others.
So today’s episode offers a brief but intentional reflection on the history of this land and how that legacy weaves through time and into the Black experience.
