Jim Kokocki, DTM is a writer, speaker, and speech coach residing in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada.
After a first career that spanned information technology, sales, and marketing, Jim retired from Bell Aliant in 2012.
During 2015-2016 Jim served as International President for Toastmasters International, a not-for-profit communication and leadership development organization that has over 16,000 member clubs and 340,000 members in 149 countries. Toastmasters' mission is to empower individuals to become more effective communicators and leaders.
From 2017-2021 Jim served as President and Board Chair for L'Arche Saint John, an organization that works with people with intellectual disabilities. Jim continues to serve L’Arche as a member of the board.
In 2020 Jim published Secrets To Becoming An Effective Public Speaker which is available on Amazon and in several Chapters-Indigo locations. In 2021 his second book Winter. Road. Hockey. was also published with Amazon.
