Jim won 2 National Championships with the Trojans and was drafted 6-times by MLB clubs before signing with the San Francisco Giants. He played there for 8 years before free agency allows Jim to move south to Anaheim for a 2 year contract with the Angels. He returns to S.F. for the final 2 years of his great career.
