When your first labor is 24 hours long, starts with your water breaking and a positive GBS test and you spend the entire thing in the hospital, what can you expect for your second birth? Well, for Ashleigh, it was basically the exact opposite of that! During her second labor she experiences two days of a start/stop early labor and doesn’t know when it will ever actually kick into gear-but when it does, she had less than an hour’s notice before she’d be holding her baby in her arms! And I’ll give you a hint, it wasn’t at the hospital, or the birth center, or at home.
