À propos de cet audio
In this episode of 1.73, Preston and Henry talk to Father Mark Livingston, Pastor of St. Augustine Parish and Schools. He shares his story of priesthood, how the confrontation of past wounds helped him move forward, and how important it is to deduce between constructive and destructive measures when growing the fruits of your mission.
Father Mark was born and raised in Detroit, Michigan and after graduating from Divine Child High School, he attended Wayne State University where he received his Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Economics. He pursued a career in finance, but ultimately felt a call to serve. After completing a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Michigan, he began a new career working in hospitals. Still feeling a deeper call to serve, he joined the Seminary in Detroit and became a priest. He currently presides over the Merciful Love of Jesus Family of Parishes, in Richmond, Michigan.
