THE JOURNALING PROMPT: Do this exercise NOW - before 2026 begins. But write AS IF it’s December 31st, 2026, and you’re looking BACK on the best year of your life. Write in PAST TENSE, journaling TO GOD: “Lord, thank You for 2026. As I sit here on December 31st and look back on this year, here’s what happened…” Then answer these 5 questions: 1. Lord, who did I become this year? (Character, thinking, peace, contribution) 1. What did I accomplish? (Business, personal life, milestones - be specific!) 1. What obstacles did I overcome? (Fears, doubts, disciplines developed) 1. How did I feel throughout the year? (What emotions defined 2026?) 1. Lord, what did YOU do? (Where You showed up, doors You opened, miracles only You could do) This journal entry becomes a living document. Throughout 2026, re-read it regularly. Measure your decisions, habits, and progress against it. Let it be your faith anchor and reminder of what God showed you. And when you reach the REAL December 31st, 2026, pull it out and see what God brought to pass.
