Good afternoon. New Hampshire. I'm DJ Huzz. Folks, did your thermostat play a trick on you this morning? We woke up to a shivering 18 degrees before dawn. and now we're sitting at a balmy 49. That's a wicked 31-degree jump in just a few hours. A warm front blew through overnight, milking every bit of mild air it could find. It's pulling moisture north, setting up a classic showdown. Today is your golden ticket before reality hits back. In the next 24 hours. Southern New Hampshire hits 47 degrees under mostly sunny skies. Central areas reach 46 with a few clouds rolling in. The White Mountains top out around 46 as well. You'll want to soak it up. Because the door slams shut tonight. That cold front slides through after sunset. Temperatures crash back into the 20s statewide overnight. A few snowflakes could fly after 5 A.M. Sunday, especially down south. Sunday brings winter back to the table. Light snow is likely across southern New Hampshire with an inch or two possible. Central areas see a chance of snow with around an inch. The mountains get just a dusting. Highs only reach the low 30s. Then the bottom drops out Sunday night. Lows plunge to 5 degrees south, 2 degrees central. and minus 3 in the mountains. Wind chills dip to minus 6. Monday stays cold and sunny with highs only in the 20s. Here's your heads-up for the week ahead. Tuesday brings another round of snow, potentially impacting the evening commute.
