Lord Jesus, renew us more today! We set our mind on our spirit and come to Your word with an exercised spirit! May our mingled spirit spread into our mind to subdue, take over, and occupy our mind! Oh Lord, may we be renewed in the spirit of our mind! Amen! We believers in Christ should no longer live according to the vanity of the mind but according to the spirit of the mind. This means that we need to love the Lord and exercise our spirit in prayer and in reading the Word to be renewed in our mind and get rid of old concepts and negative things. And when we come to the Lord's table, we need to come in newness, confessing and dealing with anything negative, and learning to forgive and be forgiven. Oh Lord, may our heart be renewed and purified! May our spirit be renewed and strengthened! Oh Lord, our heart and our spirit!
