À propos de cet audio
Boakye and Joanna both explore the importance of accessibility in business, not just for customers but also in the work place. The conversation delves into the resources and steps that can be taken to achieve the small successes in building to an accessible work place for SMEs whilst also emphasising the importance of speaking to the experts - those with accessibility requirements.
Boakye is a lecturer in International Business Management and programme leader of the BSc International Business and Management programme at Bradford. His research interests include exploring effects of project risk management on project success, international business expansion and adaptiveness, human resource management, stakeholder influence and sustainable development.
Joanna is Chief Officer at Bradford Talking Media (BTM), a non-profit focused on the provision of accessible information, particularly to those who find ordinary print difficult to read. To support this and to increase the accessibility of information they recruit and support a range of work groups who create information they and their peers can understand and have teams of people with learning difficulties, mental health service users, deaf people and people with visual impairment as part of their team.
