The guys share their experiences with addiction; it's causes and ideas for recovery. Before they go deep however, they banter about hair loss (Terry and Dan's....sorry guys!), serial killers and their connection to a famous Chicago mob hit gone awry! After an engaging discussion about today's topic, they divert back to their shallow selves and talk about the origins of "hot potato", the scientific experiment called "Rat Park", Terry laments about one side's lack of empathy, and Ems shares an opinion from the right about the origins of the current discontent, in an effort to get clarity about the current state of the union.

In today's episode, the guys take a cue from Podcaster and Author Timothy Ferris and share the top books that have impacted their lives (see list below). Prior to this thoughtful discussion, they reminisce about "how hard they had it" and how "they paved the way" for today's fantasy football participants(!), and of course they have to do a little "inside baseball" and discuss the Chicago Cubs season....a health mix of disappointment and gratitude. Terry rants about the current culture of "tipping", Danimal laments about income inequality and Ems shares a new t-shirt line from from former Illinois Congressman Adam Kinzinger. Although there was only one minor brain freeze this week, a new issue reared it's ugly head.......the muted mike!

  • You Gotta Have Faith….In Something!
    Sep 25 2025

    Send us a text

The boys go a little deeper this week as they set out to engage in a conversation about the role that faith plays in each of their lives. Most people say, "don't talk about politics and religion" but that's exactly why the guys lean into this discussion! Ems shares his views on Christianity, salvation, his "Christianity BS meter(!), and what it takes to get to heaven. They even discuss where Terry might be going....or not! Then Terry and Dan chime in with their views and questions. But it's not all serious, as they recount their early recollections of going to church (or pretending to go to church), and the horrors of watching your dad, who can't sing, lead worship. Ems is still horrified. As always, the 360 segment brings us some rants, some raves and yet another brain freeze.
