We have come to the end of 2025, and the end of our podcast, 5AM Theology; so it is very fitting that our weekly reading has us in the book of Revelation. Recently, Kirk Cameron has questioned whether unbelievers will suffer for all eternity, or will only suffer for a finite amount of time and then cease to exist. What does Scripture, especially the book of Revelation, tell us about "the end?"

So many people shrug off church membership, or even having to go to a formal church. They believe there is no need to join a church, or that just meeting with others together and discussing the Bible constitutes holding church. Others balk at denominations, or labels and titles that churches use. What does the Bible have to say about all of this?

Paul was a Jew amongst Jews, a Pharisee amongst Pharisees. Why then would Jesus send him to be an Apostle to the Gentiles? As a highly education Jew, wouldn't it have made more sense to make him an Apostle to the Jews? As with most things, Jesus does not use the same logic we do, and turns things on their head!

The Apostle Paul gets a bad rap sometimes, especially from women. But Paul loved the Church and Paul loved people! Romans 16 is an easy chapter for us to ignore because it just seems like an endless list of greetings to a bunch of people with really difficult Greek names! But we shouldn't overlook it because it tells us something about Paul, and more importantly, it's a model for us to follow in our own church!

There are several essential truths in Scripture; Truths that you need to believe to call yourself a Christian. But there is no Truth that is more essential in all of Scripture than the Truth that Jesus resurrected from the dead. Jesus’ resurrection is the single most important event in all of human history and is absolutely the most crucial Truth of Christianity. Why is that?! And what does it have to do with our physical resurrection?

Sometimes, even when we get to passages in the Bible that are so familiar, we can almost recite them word for word, BAM! Something jumps out that we've never noticed before or never thought about. We got to one of those passages this week. We all know Jesus gave the Great Commission to His Apostles, but is it possible that some of the Apostles were doubting while Jesus was doing it?
