À propos de cet audio
Pietro is joined by Lili, a Lebanese-Syrian born woman who lives in Australia, and tells the heartbreaking story of the persecution of the Alawite community in Syria.
Lili starts by giving a detailed rundown of the Syrian conflict, fomented by US funding of terrorist groups, and intensified when, under Obama, the US (and Australia) involved themselves militarily to enact regime change.
Lili details her experience, and that of her family, as well as the broader Alawite community whose suffering is largely ignored by media and humanitarian groups in service of the US’s dogged support for Israel.
For her safety, Lili has chosen to keep her identity anonymous.
