Hey Sis,
The covert ways in which an abuser sabotages their victim's chances of success and happiness are so subtle that they often go unnoticed. They also go unnoticed because the abuser does it in such a manner that makes it seem like there was no malicious intent involved, so innocently. This contributes to the frustration and loneliness of the victim who has a hard time explaining this to people outside the marriage.
