À propos de cet audio
This week's episode deals with the topic of preventing SUIDs/SIDS/infant loss. Please listen with care.
This week, The New York Times published an article about the sudden and unexpected rise in SUIDs (Sudden Unexplained Infant Death) in the US, hypothesizing about the potential causes of this very unfortunate trend. So there was no better time than now to dig into the topic.
In this episode I'll share my experience working with newborn & baby clients, who often come to me inadvertently in unsafe sleep situations, and why I think that happens so often. I'll also share some of the examples you guys gave of unsafe sleep practices you didn't know about until you found me, and finally - I'll fully unpack the AAP safe sleep guidelines so it's hopefully easier for you to make informed decisions about your baby's sleep!
In today's episode, I talk a lot about following AAP (American Academy of Pediatrics) safe sleep guidelines. You can find that list here.
