In 2 Peter, look for our completeness in Christ. Through His power, we have all we need to live a godly life. Look for truth, not cleverly crafted illogical myths. And look for a two-fold plan for maturing as Christians: 1) growth in Christ, and 2) the knowledge of our Savior Jesus.

Today, we finish 1 Peter with chapter 5. During trials and tests, God reminds us He cares for us. Are you in the midst of a trial or test? Are you trusting God to get you through?

In 1 Peter 4, Peter reminds us we face fiery trials and suffering in this life. Are you facing a trial right now? Are you suffering?

In 1 Peter 3, Peter outlines characteristics of biblical marriage. Are you married? Is your marriage based on world views of marriage, or biblical principles of marriage?

Today, we are in 1 Peter 2. While reading 1 Peter in 2000, my family celebrated our parents Golden Anniversary, fifty years of marriage. It was a joyous occasion. Do you celebrate joyous occasions? Do you maintain your desire for the pure milk of the Word?

In James 4, we are going to learn about worldliness, quarrels, resisting the devil, and boasting about tomorrow. Any, or all of these instructions, would change the way we live. Which one will get your attention?
