Warrick Stock, known as DJ Warras, was shot and killed on December 16, 2025, in what investigators describe as a "targeted hit" related to his work with hijacked buildings in the Johannesburg CBD. The key circumstances surrounding his death include:

    • Work with Hijacked Buildings: Warras was a co-owner of a security company contracted to manage and reclaim buildings from "hijackers" (illegal occupants). At the time of the shooting, he had just spent several hours at Zambesi House overseeing the installation of security systems and mechanisms intended to ensure occupants paid rent.
    • Targeted Retaliation: Johannesburg MMC for Public Safety, Dr. Mgcini Tshwaku, stated that building hijackers likely saw Warras's work as a direct threat to their illegal income. Investigators believe a "price was put on his head" because of these efforts.
    • Prior Threats: Warras had reportedly secured five protection orders against individuals who had previously threatened him. These individuals are expected to be questioned as part of the murder investigation.

    • The Incident: Warras was ambushed outside Zambesi House, near the Carlton Centre, as he was approaching his vehicle while on a phone call. CCTV footage shows three suspects were involved, including a gunman with dreadlocks who opened fire at close range.
    • Not a Robbery: Although Warras was armed at the time, nothing was stolen from him, leading police to rule out robbery as a motive.

His death has highlighted the extreme dangers associated with reclaiming hijacked properties in South Africa's inner cities.

  • 700 Killed In Tanzania's CHAOS |Over 130 Cartels Killed In Rio De Janeiro Brazil
    Nov 2 2025
700 Killed In Tanzania's CHAOS |Over 130 Cartels Killed In Rio De Janeiro Brazilyoutube.com/@amkapodcastAt least 700 People Died In Tanzania's CHAOS | 130 Drug Cartels Killed In Rio De Janeiro Brazil! In this video we examine two deeply unsettling events happening almost simultaneously across the globe—one in East Africa and one in Latin America—that speak to the themes of power, justice, human dignity and the cost of silence. These are stories that demand our attention, provoke our thinking—and challenge us to respond.🇹🇿 Tanzania – A Nation in TurmoilIn Tanzania, the recent general election plunged the country into something far more than political contestation. According to the main opposition party, approximately 700 people were killed over the course of just three days of protests following the election. Protesters took to the streets in cities including Dar es Salaam and Mwanza, angered by what they say was the exclusion of key opposition candidates and an election that lacked credible competition. In response, the government deployed military forces, imposed a nationwide curfew, limited internet access and blocked social media. International human rights organisations and the United Nations Human Rights Office say they have credible reports of the use of live ammunition and heavy-handed tactics—but emphasise that the actual figure of deaths is unverified and may be far higher. What we are witnessing is more than just unrest: it may be a turning-point in the relationship between citizens and power, in one of Africa’s historically stable nations. This part of our story asks: What happens when participation is denied? What happens when voices are silenced?🇧🇷 Brazil – The Deadliest Raid in Recent MemoryOn the other side of the Atlantic in Rio de Janeiro, Comando Vermelho—one of Brazil’s most powerful criminal organisations—was targeted in a massive police operation involving thousands of officers. The death toll from the raid is now reported at at least 130 people, and possibly higher as investigations continue. Bodies were found in forested hillside areas, in raided favelas, and the scenes have raised serious questions about how far law-enforcement should go, and what the collateral damage may be to communities already living on the margins. Officials say the raid was necessary to confront drug-trafficking, arms-smuggling, and the existential threat posed by powerful gangs. But critics say civilians and bystanders may have been caught in the cross-fire, and that independent investigations are urgently needed. This part asks: When does the fight for justice become a fight that triggers further injustice? How do we ensure that the vulnerable don’t bear the brunt of force meant to protect?SUPPORT AMKA PODCAST here 👇🏿https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted...WATCH Our Podcast Here youtube.com/@amkapodcast Become our member here 👇🏿https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC3oF...Get 20% discount for joining riverside.fm for your podcast productionhere https://www.riverside.fm/?via=ali-bin...Listen to AMKA Podcast on Apple podcast &Spotify https://linktr.ee/alisdjo?utm_source=...Connect with me on social media Instagram https://www.instagram.com/alis_djo?Tiktok https://www.tiktok.com/@alis_djo?Facebook https://www.facebook.com/share/boSLC2...Email 📧 alibinsaidi@outlook.com #Tanzania #TanzaniaRiots #BrazilCartels #RioDeJaneiro #EastAfrica #SouthAmerica #GovernmentPower #TanzaniaNews #RioDeJaneiroCartel #Brazil #Africa #TanzaniaElections #DrugsCartel #samiasuluhuhassan #zanzibarTanzania
