WHAT DOES GOD WANT FROM YOU?
So, you have established your anchor in the truth that God is your true source of rest. Even as you do this, though, you find yourself wondering how this applies to your life here on earth. With increasingly busy schedules, family responsibilities, and work obligations always present, we as men want to know how this practically affects our daily lives. Most of the time, we live under the assumption of what Jesus expects from the way that we live our lives on earth. We need to take some time to look at what Jesus actually says He desires from us.

How important are our children and grandchildren to you?

John and Todd have a candid discussion about how we raise our children and what we have learned over the years about the importance of raising up our children to see how we love God and most importantly how God's love for us can, will and does change our lives.

The old testament raises the importance of children in several OT scriptures.

    Deuteronomy 6:7

Impress them (Laws and Decrees) on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.

    Psalm 34:11

Come, my children, listen to me; I will teach you the fear of the Lord.

    Psalm 37:26

They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be a blessing.

Also in the New Testament and the New Covenant, children play an even greater significance in our lives.Teaching them to be followers of Christ is the utmost importance in our walk with Jesus.

    Matthew 19:14

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

    Matthew 21:16

“Do you hear what these children are saying?” they asked him. “Yes,” replied Jesus, “have you never read, “‘From the lips of children and infants you, Lord, have called forth your praise’?

    ”Mark 9:37

“Whoever welcomes one of these little children in my name welcomes me; and whoever welcomes me does not welcome me but the one who sent me.”

    Saints or Sinners!

This is a topic that can invoke great discussions and it may seem like you are splitting hairs on the subject.

Many will defend the stance that "we are sinners saved by Grace" while others will tell you that "we are Saints that sometimes sin".

As we continue our Grace messages from a New Covenant perspective, Bob, Todd and John share what we believe is correct if we are followers of Jesus and believers in what the Bible teaches.

What are you and what has influenced your decision to think that way. The Anchormen will look at what scripture says as the apostle Paul travels throughout his journeys through Ephesus, Corinth, Galatia and throughout the middle east.

Comes down to the question, Is Paul right or was the scripture wrong?

Join us this week as we have a casual conversation between Saints, or are they sinners?

    Feb 12 2026

In the old testament in the book of Joshua we read where Joshua and his family take a stand against the evil that he sees all around him.

    Joshua 24:15

But if serving the Lord seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land you are living. But as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.”

Today we will look inside Bob, Todd and John's faith and what it means to them to stand for God and put Him first in everything we say, do and how we live each day.

Join us as we proudly proclaim,

"A For Me and My House, We will serve the Lord"
