Shame shows up as a consequence to sin. Spiritual shame is a sense of guilt, dishonor, disgrace, embarrassment, and remorse for what you've done. Jesus took all of our sin and shame upon himself when he was sacrificed on the cross. We can now live in freedom and experience joy.

We gain confidence by doing something. Confidence kills anxiety. We don't have to be afraid to approach God anymore. We can draw close with confidence and hold fast as God has promised to be faithful.

With a new heart we can find emotional healing and forgiveness. With a new mind we can think differently and understand things with a new perspective.
