  • A Bit More Personal: Grief, Loss, and Learning to Trust Your Intuition
    Dec 1 2025

This episode is exactly what the title promises: a bit more personal.

After the whirlwind of the last few months, I wanted to sit down and share openly about the transition in life I have been walking through and how deeply grief and loss can rearrange every corner of your world. When you are in the middle of a transition in life, the smallest things can feel impossible and the biggest things can feel strangely far away. I am feeling all of it and learning from all of it.

Losing my mom the day after moving into our dream home cracked something open in me. If you have ever experienced grief and loss, you know it changes your rhythm, your capacity, and your clarity. It forces you to trust your intuition in ways you never expected. It asks you to sit with what is real. It asks you to slow down. And in this season, I am learning to trust your intuition even when the path feels foggy. I am also learning that you are always free to change your mind, especially in the middle of grief and loss and every unexpected transition in life that follows.

    In this episode, I share:

    • What this transition in life has taught me about capacity and energy
    • How grief and loss can sharpen your priorities in surprising ways
    • Why choosing to trust your intuition is often the only next step
    • How being free to change your mind is a form of self-respect
    • The quiet reminders that come when you honor your own timing

This season has asked me to be gentle with myself. To trust your intuition when everything feels uncertain. To remember that I am always free to change your mind when something no longer fits. And to let this transition in life be what it is, instead of trying to force it into clarity. If you are walking through your own version of grief and loss, or navigating your own transition in life, I hope this conversation reminds you that you are allowed to pause. You are allowed to pivot. You are allowed to be free to change your mind as many times as you need.

Thank you for being here and for allowing me to share honestly. If this resonates, share it with someone who is learning to trust your intuition through their own transition in life and their own season of grief and loss.

  • Creating a Meaningful End-of-Life Celebration with Alanna from Good Mourning
    Nov 17 2025

This week, I am re-releasing one of my favorite conversations from the #ActuallyICan archives. I sat down with Alanna from Good Mourning to talk about what it really means to create a meaningful and personal end-of-life celebration that truly reflects who we are and how we lived.

For so many of us, talking about death feels uncomfortable or even taboo. But what I learned in this conversation is that talking about death can be grounding, healing, and surprisingly full of love. Alanna and I explored how death positivity helps us move from fear to peace, how legacy planning becomes an act of care, and why a living wake can be one of the most beautiful ways to celebrate a life while it is still being lived.

Here is what we dive into:

    • How talking about death opens space for connection and truth
    • Why legacy planning gives your loved ones clarity and confidence
    • What a living wake actually looks like and how to plan one
    • The role of death positivity in letting go of old traditions
    • How an end-of-life celebration can become an expression of joy

This re-released episode reminded me that talking about death is really about living honestly and fully. It is about legacy planning that feels intentional, embracing death positivity with curiosity, and creating end-of-life celebrations that honor who we truly are.

If you have ever wondered what a living wake could look like or how to start talking about death in a way that feels safe, this episode will open your heart and mind. Join me as I explore how legacy planning, death positivity, and reimagined end-of-life celebrations can help us live with more purpose and peace.

  • The Keep It All Together Rule: How Letting Go of Control Can Heal You and Your Business
    Nov 10 2025

We’ve all been taught to keep it all together and smile through the chaos, power through the pain, and keep performing even when life feels impossible.

But what if holding it all together is the very thing keeping you from healing, growing, and building a business that feels true to you?

In this honest and grounded episode of #ActuallyICan, I open up about losing my mom, navigating grief, and finding the courage to let go of control. I share how giving myself permission to rest became not just survival but a pathway to authentic business growth.

This is what overcoming burnout really looks like for midlife women entrepreneurs who are ready to trust in the process and stop pretending everything is fine.

    You’ll hear:

    • How permission to rest becomes an act of strength
    • The truth about overcoming burnout while running a business
    • Why choosing to let go of control is not failure but freedom
    • How to keep it all together without losing yourself
    • What it really means to trust in the process when life unravels

By the end, you’ll see that letting go of control and giving yourself permission to rest are not signs of weakness but essential steps in overcoming burnout. When you finally trust in the process, you stop trying to keep it all together and start creating authentic business growth on your own terms.

If this message speaks to you, share it with another woman who’s learning to let go and give herself permission to rest.
