À propos de cet audio
On this week's episode of Kaleidoscope with Allison Keyes, a conversation about an intriguing art installation at President Lincoln's Cottage in Washington, DC. It is Black History Month, and the African artist, Georges Adéagbo, uses sculpture and found objects to examine themes of freedom and bondage in the space where President Lincoln lived, and developed the Emancipation Proclamation. Allison speaks with the CEO and Executive Director of the Cottage, Michael Atwood Mason, about how the idea came about, and what message he's hoping the exhibition sends to those who see it.
