They now are beginning to prepare for the 2034 Winter Olympics after a very successful 2002 Winter Olympics.

    In winter 2022-23 Utah experienced a banner season of the "Greatest Snow on Earth" enabling a record 7.1 million skier visits. Alta Ski Area led all Utah resorts with 903 inches of snow.
