À propos de cet audio
Annie: What’s up guys? Welcome to the eighth episode of our podcast, “Food Away From Home (World Tour)”, with your hosts Annie, Cece, and Shiv. In this episode, we're going to be talking about the different foods that you can find in Argentina, and where they can be found. Let's get started!
Segment 1: Different Regions and landscapes.Cece: Argentina has many different landscapes like mountains, as well as different regions. Let's get into some of these different areas!
Shiv: Argentina which is soooo beautiful, is split into 4 different regions, which are the andes, The north, the pampas, and Patagonia
Shiv: The Andes are the western mountains, and the highest mountain range outside of Asia. These mountains look absolutely ANGELIC! They are extremely pointy and imperfect, but that is what makes them so beautiful. The highest peak in the Andes mountains is Mount Anaconda which reaches a height of 22,831 feet or 6,959 meters. Insane!
Shiv:the north, This region is extremely rustic and breathtaking, there are a lot of colorful mountains and salt flats that connect to deep indigenous roots. The scenery has a lot of vibrant natural colors like shades of yellow, orange, brown, and greens.
Shiv: The pampas are known for their rich soil and fertile land that is amazing for agriculture. There is a TON of open land in this region, and like the other regions it's super elegant and has a lot of natural tones like brown and green. This land also serves as the Southwest’s “bread basket” for cattle wheat.
Shiv: And lastly Patagonia, which is easily the MOST breathtaking out of all of these regions as it is surrounded by beautiful trees and icy mountains. The overall climate is really cold, but very suitable for tourism because of its magical scenery and crystal clear lake. Fun fact, the jacket brand Patagonia was inspired by the mystical south american landscape, I actually have my own blue-teal Patagonia jacket at home! And my dad is basically obsessed with them because they have a lot of high-quality jackets for lower prices than most popular jacket brands.
Shiv: There are also beautiful waterfalls, and rainforests all over Argentina, like
Iguazu Falls: A spectacular waterfall system on the border with Brazil, a major natural wonder ,and
