After last week’s Full Moon, the emphasis is on wrapping up, completion and working on projects already in motion. It doesn't mean that you can’t start something new — however you might move against instead of flow with situations.

This is maximized by a couple of things:

1. Saturn went retrograde this past weekend. Hesitation seems greater. Systems pull back instead of move forward especially with new ways to be.

Actually, now that Pluto has left Capricorn, we can theoretically define things in the brave new world in which we could find ourselves in this millennium.

Yet, are human beings really ready for survival through evolution or are do they prefer to hold up in their bunkers and attempt maintenance of what has been?

Pluto is in Aquarius, so of course there's been a lot of resistance and fear. Think about it. Capricorn is assigned “rulership” by Saturn. Saturn is easy to understand for Capricorn because it’s Lord Karma: limitations, discipline, structure, how we define things, how we construct things, what our fears are because nothing limits us as much as fear.

Capricorns respond to uniform ways of being. They dress a certain way. They like routines. They take a long time before they move into something else because when they do, it’s a commitment. They are cautious. They are willing to work on something that takes a long time to achieve and really only value it if they've put a lot of work into it.

Yet the ancients also considered Aquarius linked to Saturn. People sometimes have trouble conceptualizing the link of Saturn to both Aquarius and Capricorn. Uranus, the planet of change, freedom and the unexpected, seems to fit Aquarius better. Aquarians do things differently, see themselves as unique, spin the world in a way that not everybody does.

The Saturnine similarity is that Aquarians are just as rigid (perhaps more so) in their thinking as Capricorns. With Pluto in Aquarius, systems will go through a metamorphosis that makes the old ways untenable.

It's a new way to set up a platform and it does require change, so reinforce what you would like to unfold.

July 7, 2025 — I've been talking about this day for a while. Anyone who's interested in astrology has probably seen spin about Uranus in Gemini. On July 7 Uranus enters Gemini at 3.45 AM ET.

At the end of this post is a link to my post about what we might expect with that transition.

This week, it's valuable to think of the change we want to invite in — especially in dialogue — Gemini is a sign linked to communication, writing, articulation.

And gossip, what's going on in the neighborhood? We are all aware of the speed online of news: how someone says something and it morphs into something else. It's time to better understand the value of verifiable information.

Pluto is early degree in the sign of Aquarius. Meanwhile, Uranus is on its way out of the sign of Taurus. Both Aquarius and Taurus are fixed signs.

July 4th has the beginning and end of these planetary journeys in fixed sign energy. Tenacious, focused, stubborn = fixed.

On July 4th is if you are in place where there's a lot of people — be alert, pay attention to what's around you. Inspiration and revelation can be had for those who are present in the moment.

We're in a very difficult period on the planet. Yet, on 6/24/2025 at 11:17 AM ET, the Sun and Jupiter are conjunct. Now ordinarily, when an astrologer sees the sun is conjunct Jupiter, in this case, in the sign of cancer, they say, "Oh, luckiest day in the year."

Well, maybe… and the moon is void-of-course. Where does that point land in your personal horoscope? …2-3° Cancer?

The thing to pay attention to, if you know where Cancer falls in your horoscope, is what in that area of life do you want to make happen?

This is a highlighted time. I recommend we anticipate the best outcome. We are in an incredibly volatile period in the world. Can we anticipate the best outcome? If each of us can kind of hold that light and remember: the sign of Cancer is about nurturing, mothering and protecting children.

The more each of us emphasize as a value, feeding people, nurturing people— this can be a day where we bring the love into something that seems impossible.

As we gaze at the week before us, we can poise ourselves for the weeks to come. It's very important to understand that to push hard in one direction, can obscure possibilities of leverage that might offer some “give”.

We're all struggling with this. Negotiation is key at this point in time. It's great to feel the strength in what you want to achieve, but it doesn't always allow negotiation ability.

We may need a different way of seeing to unfold. In this waning moon cycle, we can seek clarity, but it may not be the opportune time to take action.

We have an opportunity to look in the mirror and see: “am I getting in my way on this?”

Because if something isn't going the way we need it to go, then step back and look. It may be instantaneous: "Whoa, this is how I deliver the message!"

… or we realize it’s time to figure out new strategies.

In the waxing moon cycle, the week opens with a Virgo Moon to encourage focus on whatever needs attention. However, it’s kind of a “persnickety” day… I don't know how else to say it. The snare happens if we spend too much time on certain things and miss doing what has the most importance.

The ideal here is to use Monday and Tuesday for things that benefit from eagle eye focus. For people who love to details, these couple of days are particularly rich.

We can look forward to a really beautiful week… of course, even on really beautiful weeks, s*** happens.

When I do the forecast of astrology, I talk about: how to take control, focus on the good energy, positive aspects. But of course, it all depends on who leads the action. Even when I see days that look really good — unfortunately, people who do have not good intentions can also initiate and ride that energetic thrust.

As warriors of spiritual growth and love, I encourage all of us to do what we can to use the Gemini New Moon to propel forward in the most positive way possible. This new moon happens on Memorial Day in the United States at 11:02 PM ET.

The planet that it makes a geometric aspect to before it leaves the sign of Gemini is Jupiter. Jupiter is considered the Great Benefic; it is the biggest planet in our sky. There is a also. an astronomical reason why it's our good fortune planet, because its gravitational belt sucks in asteroids that otherwise might sail into Earth!

Since Jupiter is presently in the sign of Gemini, the opening days of this week welcome dialogue, invitations, connections and leads.
