    Our talk today will be focused on God's creation and God's rest. We will begin by examining the Israelites Exodus out of Egypt. Afterwards, we will flip back to Genesis 1 and study the six days of creation and the seventh day of rest. Next, we will observe how the letter to the Hebrews in the New Testament connects Genesis 1 to Exodus. We will see what it means for Jesus to be Lord of the Sabbath. And we will end with three practical ways that we can apply this message.

    Did you know that Jesus was adopted? Joseph married Jesus' mother, Mary, and formally adopted the infant Jesus as his own. He provided for Jesus into his teen years, which is when most Bible scholars agree that he passed away.
