G'Kar is a holy figure and, apparently, a best selling author. Jeff and Brent wonder what it feels like to punch a Drazi as they marvel over the score.

required listening for a B5 fan

great show guys absolutely love listening to both of you and seeing things through your eyes, love that Brent is a Stargate fan and brings some of that to the table, love that jeff rocks the mass effect series. this is my first podcast that I have ever listened to (mind you I mostly watch on you tube now just couldn't find where to leave a review haha) that being said you guys have set the bar pretty high for entertaining content as I have tried listening to other podcasts and I did not like them lol, anywho this is me finally giving a 5 star review but I have emailed through the website eons ago and cannot wait for the third season to begin there are at least 3 episodes that I cannot wait for you guys to watch the whole season (as a while) is fantastic but there is moments that are small but impactful that I'm dying for you guys to see lol.

oh and a big thank you to my fellow Stargate fan Brent, love watching you watch B5 and cannot wait to see a colab of you guys experiencing Stargate and for Jeff that'll be "for the first time" keep the great content coming guys since it is the only good podcast .....so far (I've tried)

My latest favourite podcast!

I've been meaning to write a review for at least a season now... figured it was about time to get one in, get into the draw for the Sheridan action figure (I really just want that 1/10,000,000th-scale station ya know).

I caught B5 off and on during its initial run - stumbled across it in some weird weekend time slot somewhere early in the third season, but was immediately hooked by the amazing space battles and nightmarish Shadow ships. By the time my first full re-watch came about, I had discovered rec.arts.scifi.tv.babylon5.moderated, interacted with the creator himself (who even does that??), and learned quite a bit about what I had missed previously... so I really missed that "what's going to happen next week?!" effect for the first couple of seasons.

Watching B5 before now, I never had someone else with that other insane geek cred to bounce thoughts and ideas off of. Usenet sort of had that effect, but it wasn't the same. That's why it's been such a pleasure watching Brent and Jeff make their way through the show: as longtime podcasters and all-around sci-fi fans, they not only bring a refreshed perspective, but they have that way of looking beyond the surface, getting in-depth with some of the ideas in the show - heck, I've watched the whole series at least a dozen times and they're catching things even I've missed, or providing a new, different view of some scenes and events.

It's been a little frustrating at times, that they just couldn't seem to get past the idea of episodic TV, but by the end of the second season I think they've finally fully grasped the "five year story" idea. I can't wait for their re-watch where they get a better view of how seemingly stand-alone episodes and minor occurrences play into the overall story.

Whether you've been a Babylon 5 fan from the start, or are just getting into it now, definitely give these boys a listen!
