  • REPLAY: Money Magic with Witch Sarah Faith Gottesdiener
    Jun 10 2025

Original Air Date: June 13, 2023

We get deeply magical this week as we lean into the feelings part of the podcast with Moon Studio's Sarah Faith Gottesdiener. Money is ancestral, symbolic, deeply intimate and has a huge impact on our nervous systems, especially for listeners of this show who are introverts, neurodivergent, or sensitive to conflict. Gabe is excited to get spiritual about finances! What is future-casting? What's the difference between witchcraft, manifestation, and the toxic "wellness industry" mindset? Do we have to believe in angel numbers and signs? What is "enoughness" and how do we achieve it??

AIRHORN NOISE! Bravely Go's Kara Perez joins Gabe on the podcast to talk about the loud and ubiquitous TV stock market guru Jim Cramer, he of sound effects and funny hats. What's his tragic backstory? What's his actual money philosophy when you take away the bells and whistles? What have been his biggest money pop culture moments? Was this book actually sort of... okay?? (Maybe?) Also, come for the rollercoaster of amorality, stay for the kidnapping saga!

  • The Activism and Legacy of Marsha P. Johnson with Tourmaline
    May 20 2025

Artist and author Tourmaline joins the show to talk about her 20 years of research on LGBTQ icon Marsha P. Johnson, the Black trans woman who was one of the key figures of the Stonewall Uprising. We go through hidden queer history from the hourly hotels where Marsha and her friends could express their genders to turn of the century lesbians to the Black room at Stonewall to bottom surgery at Johns Hopkins in the 60s and 70s. We’ve come so far and yet nothing changes. It was an honor to have Tourmaline on in this moment to discuss queer and trans activism through the ages. Prepare to have chills.
