Should All Jews Be Orthodox? | TORAH FOUNDATION (16)

    https://youtu.be/TS6JpubUUho

In a recent podcast by 18Forty, the question of whether all jews should be orthodox was asked in order to understand what's missing from the Modern Orthodox Kiruv efforts.

Although the Chovot HaLevavot was written nearly 1000 years ago, HaShem's never ending guidance shows us how his words answer this question and much more. With the help of the clarifying words of the sages, we will see the missing ingredient jump out like never before.

If you are politically correct, confident to the point of arrogance, or selectively ignorant, this will sting a little. Otherwise, Enjoy, Learn, Share and Be Holy.

BESHALACH: The Long Hard Way or Shortcut to Dead End| STUMP THE RABBI (259)

    https://youtu.be/0-NQb2_8fXk

It's not unique or surprising that in the age of instant gratification, people choose the Short Easy Way instantaneously. In Parashat Beshalach we see that HaShem chose the long hard way for Am Yisrael to journey through the desert in order to avoid war, yet the Torah says that they were armed.

Why? In life we are often preparing for different events for months or years, only to find out that it was all unnecessary, since HaShem chose a different way. Through the verses and the stories of past times, we will learn more about why our past was the way it was, in hopes to be more prepared for the future.

This will be followed by questions & answers from the live online audience. Learn, Enjoy, Share and Be Holy.
