  • 134. Jerez de la Frontera - complete guide to the most Spanish city in Spain
    Aug 27 2025

In this episode we are taking you to what we believe to be the most Spanish city we have ever been too. A huge call I know! This is the first episode in a series of three about Jerez de La Frontera. There are three things that make this city uniquely Spanish – It is the flamenco capital of Spain, it is the Sherry capital of the world and it is home to the Royal Equestrian School of Andalusia. We tell you all about these three icons of Jerez in this episode and some fun stories of how we were made feel like superstars at a couple of the local tabancos . • 133. Palma De Mallorca, Balearic Islands, Spain
    Aug 13 2025

This week we are taking you to Palma de Mallorca. We had 5 days exploring this city and we tell you all about it so you can plan your perfect trip to this Balearic Island. We cover where to stay - away from tourist areas, but close to city, the easiest and cheapest way to get around, the best day trips including magical boat trips, hikes with views to die for and the most charming medieval village high in the mountains full of cute cobblestone streets. Of course, we couldn’t do a podcast about Palma de Mallorca without giving you all the information about the Mallorca Cathedral. We did a lot of exploring on foot, local bus, day trips and we also chilled out a lot around our fabulous accommodation and swam in the amazing Mediterranean ocean. Stay listening to the end to hear about how we thought we might be stuck in a cave on our boat trip. Obviously we lived to tell the tale, so please enjoy episode 133 all about Palma de Mallorca.
