COVID brought a pause to all training which allowed Danielle to reignite her creative side. Entirely self-taught Danielle's art business was her first job out of university and within 2 months she was earning a full salary.

She is now running her 6 figure art business, turning over up to £22k a month with her paintings flown to collectors all over the world, including the USA, Australia, France, Canada, and many countries throughout Europe. Episode 8 of "Becoming an Artist - Creative Secrets Revealed” is with Alex Farkas who founded one of the first online galleries for artists, UGallery, in 2006 when he noticed that art patrons weren’t able to easily acquire art outside of their local gallery scene. He had also studied Art History at university and he saw how hard it was for new artists to break into the market and be treated fairly. Wanting to make a positive difference in the art world, he founded UGallery, which significantly improved the opportunities available for emerging artists and represents over 350 artists today.

Episode 7 of "Becoming an Artist - Creative Secrets Revealed” is with Matt Henry, a Visual Storyteller and Photographer, obsessed with bygone times of old, namely 1960s America, when love and drugs were free and easy.

This is a snippet from his website bio, which explains it all: “Celluloid traces of the era became the language of my imagination and the tension between its pop culture and radical alternatives seemed like a riddle that might yet answer our consumer-led malaise.”

He regularly shoots his photo story series, for which he travels to America and other far-off lands, finding the best talent around to star in his atmospheric scenes that leave the viewer filled with questions and pregnant with story. Some of the fantastical names of his collections include: Mysterious Island, The Trip, Season of the Witch, Born on the Bayou, Lone Stars and Curse of Nanny Goat Island.

He has exhibited all over the world and his photos are highly sought-after with collectors scrambling to get their hands on whatever his insanely creative brain comes up with next.
