  • Dreaming After Disappointment
    Nov 19 2025

Let’s talk about dreaming after disappointment. Maybe you're in a season where dreaming feels super hard and sticking your neck out one last time is the last thing you want to do. Because for some of us maybe our biggest battle isn’t disappointment, it’s over yielding out of disappointment, it’s mistaking numbness for peace and trading risk for relief and then calling that faith.

But let me tell you, you’re not here for relief. You’re here for revival. You’re here to plant orchards not just settle in safe gardens.

What if I ask God and he says no again? What if I step out and it fails like the last time? What if I hope too hard and it only lands me in disappointment? So, we spiritualize the settling. Because listen friends, calling will always cost more than comfort.

If you're in a similar season and navigating this very thing, thanks for being here. I hope this episode is what you need to keep going and have the courage to keep moving forward.

  • Sowing Seeds You May Never See
    Oct 21 2025

The eternal reward of God’s work far outweighs temporary success on earth. Your desire for impact, influence, and fruit may feel unmet now, but your perserverence in faith, love, and service is eternal.

So if you’re in a waiting season—the fruit may not fully manifest now, but God is recording it in his hall of faith.

But here is what I am learning. Maybe the point isn’t always to see the fruit right now. Maybe the point is to sow seeds you may never see. Trusting that God is working beneath the surface. Even when you feel like nothing is happening. That’s what I want to talk about today. Thanks for being here.

  • When to Lean In and When to Step Back: Rhythms for Motherhood.
    Oct 14 2025

I can pour in, and I can be poured into. I can lean in close, and I can step back andbreathe. I can engage fully, and I can retreat to be renewed. I can be present, and I can find reprieve. I can hold space for others, and I can hold space formyself.

What cultural Christianity often sounds like: A good mom sacrifices everything with a smile. If you're weary, you're probably not spiritual enough. Holiness=busyness for others. It's all about performing and proving. It uses religious words but is powered by guilt and comparison. Not grace.

What Jesus actually offers--Come to me all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Jesus withdrew often to lonely places to pray. He did not heal every person in Israel . He lived within limits. Joy in the spirit isn’t forced—it flows from abiding, not pretending. Sacrifice is rooted in love, not compulsion.

We are all being invited into compassionate motherhood--not a performingor striving one. A motherhood that says, I’m not limitless, but I am beloved. Myreprieve is good, my leaning in is ok. And both together make me whole.

  • From Pressure to Purpose: Releasing the Need to Be Meaningful + Living A Life of Surrender
    Oct 6 2025

Welcome back! Today we are asking ourselves the question if what we are building, is it kingdom-building or self-building? Especially when the things we are building look good on paper, like launching a coaching business or a podcast or even hosting retreats.

The original idea came from some thoughts that I had been wrestling with personally, like how do I discern if I am making life about me, my wishes, my dreams, my desires or if I’m making life about him and building His kingdom.

Matthew 6:33 says, "Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. And all these things shall be added unto." When we can give up our need to be meaningful and be impactful, we can learn to live a life of surrender and ultimately trust God to our desires as we build His kingdom. Amen? Because here is the truth, you are already meaningful. Not because you did something big, but because you are already fully loved, fully chosen and fully enough in Christ.

  • Purpose, Calling + Reaching for More
    Sep 30 2025

Welcome to our second episode on the Becoming Podcast and today we are going to tackle the subject of discovering our purpose and calling while also unpacking that we will always be wrestling with these feelings of insatiability or that longing for more on this journey called life

And not just purpose and calling but the longings of our heart, the desires unfulfilled and sometimes, if you're like me, that insatiableness that cannot quite be quenched on this side of heaven.

So ultimately as we unpack this topic of discovering your unique purpose and calling and fulfilling the desires and longings of our heart, just know this overarching theme its not found in this life, but in the life to come. There is so much more. And yes if you live life the way you desire know that at the end of that road life will always be empty and meaningless because it's there that the becomes the catalyst that actually causes us to search for God.

  • Abide + Build: Living A Fruitful Kingdom Life
    Sep 22 2025

Welcome to the podcast--today we are diving into something that been stirring in my own heart: how do we build a kingdom fruit-filled life in the midst of daily schedules and toddler meltdowns?

For me, it’s often easy to abide with the Lord in the early mornings—when the house is quiet, His presence feels near, and I can sense His spirit so tangibly. But as the day unfolds, with all its demands and distractions, that closeness can start to fade. Maybe you’ve felt that too—like when you come home from a women’s retreat or a powerful conference. The worship fades, the touch from the Lord seems to slip away, and suddenly the holy feels a little harder to hold onto.

So here’s the tension: How do we carry what we’ve experienced in those sacred, quiet moments into the ordinary hours of our day? How do we remain in him when the to-do lists stack up, the needs keep coming, and life pulls in every direction? Let's unpack this together. Thanks for being here.
