In today’s episode, we witness the moment when Simeon—moved by the Holy Spirit—holds the infant Jesus and recognizes Him as the long-awaited light for the nations. Isaiah’s prophecy comes into sharp focus as Simeon blesses God, declaring that salvation has arrived for both Israel and the Gentiles. Yet he also warns that this child will be the dividing line—many will rise, and many will fall based on their response to Him. Jesus, the true Light of the World, brings unity where there was division and restores what was broken through His redeeming work. Through the newborn Messiah, God begins gathering a kingdom made up of people from every nation, fulfilling His promise that salvation would reach the ends of the earth.
